Fish nest with mashed potatoes

Ingredients:
  • 2 pangasius filets 
  • 500 g (1 lbs) potatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon sweet red pepper
  • a pinch of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dill
  • 60 ml olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon black sesame
  • lettuce
  • pomegranate seeds
Directions:
  • Drain the fish fillets on a kitchen paper while preparing the fish marinade and boiling the potatoes.
  • In a bowl mix 50 gr olive oil, the red and black pepper, salt, sesame and the finely chopped garlic.
  • Cut the drained fish fillets lengthwise into 2cm tick stripes and add them to the marinade. Leave it there while preparing the mashed potatoes.
  • Mash the boiled potatoes. Add the rest of the vegetable oil and a pinch of pepper and salt.
  • Use a spoon to make nests from the mashed potatoes on a baking paper and layout the fish stripes around them.
  • Pour what's left from the marinade, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake in 250 C oven.
  • Serve in lettuce covered dish sprinkled with the pomegranate seeds.
